1 Done | Firstly, grab a pan and add some oil for frying. Grab the chopped onions and put them in the preheated pan. Fry them until they turn light brown for 5-7 minutes. |
2 Done | Next, add in garlic and beef and fry everything evenly. Make sure the meat is cooked thoroughly, as it will change its color when ready. |
3 Done | When the meat is ready, add in the potato, one tablespoon of turmeric, puree, and thyme along with 200 ml of water. Cook everything under the lid for 15 minutes on low flame. |
4 Done | After 15 minutes, take the lid off and stir everything slowly for five more minutes. When everything seems to be appropriately merged, add the hot pepper sauce and set it aside to cool down. |
5 Done | Time to prepare the pastries. Take ready your oven on 220c heat/ 200c fan and gas 7. Take each pastry and roll it until its equal to the thickness of a coin. Spread it evenly on the counter and cut out 6x15 cm size circles while using a shape cutter or any sharp round object. |
6 Done | Set all the cut out circles at one side and divide the prepared meat evenly on all of them. When everything is ready, mix the remaining turmeric with egg, create a mixture and brush it at the corners of each pastry circle. Join the corners of pastries into D shape and seal them while using a fork. |
7 Done | Arrange all the prepared pastries on the baking tray equally. Brush them with an egg a little more and let them bake for 20-25 minutes. Serve them with a salad or sauce of your choice. |
