Caribbean cuisine always amazes people like us when it comes to combining different types of flavors altogether for one dish. It may seem nostalgic at first as the recipe that we are about to share may give you a sense of mismatching at first, but when it takes its original form, it marks as almost perfect in flavor and combination both.
Jerk beef burger with pineapple relish and chips is a recipe that Jamaican people came up with to shock the world’s people with exotic and robust flavors. You may like your burgers simple and full of beef and vegetables, but you won’t want your burgers simple anymore when you try this extraordinary recipe once. We believe you will love our recipe and be willing to try it again once you make it for yourself or your family.
Steps
1 Done | We will start by making our patties' mixture. Mix the grated onion, carrot, minced beef, and jerk seasoning altogether in a big bowl. Form standard size shapes of cakes from the combination and set them aside for a few minutes. You will probably be able to make 4-5 patties. |
2 Done | Prepare a non-stick frying pan for frying by adding a drizzle of oil for frying our patties. Cook each side of the patty on low heat for 5-7 minutes each. Make sure everything included in cakes are cooked thoroughly. |
3 Done | Heat your buns from both sides a little so that your burgers won't be dry when you eat. |
4 Done | When our burgers are ready, it's time to make some delicious fries. You can either deep fry your fries or bake them in the oven for 40 minutes. Cut the potatoes in the form of fries by hand or use a fries' cutter. If you wish to bake, lay them on a baking tray without overlapping them and cook them while tossing them for 30-40 minutes. Keep your heat on 190C/170C fan- gas 5 for baking. |
5 Done | Finally, to finish up with your relish, mix the remaining chopped onion, pineapple, chili, coriander, and lime juice altogether. Arrange your burgers with patties and some lettuce in the buns while topping them with your relish. |
6 Done | Serve with hot baked, fried, and sauce of your choice. Enjoy! |
