- 1 Cup Butter
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 2 Cups All-purpose Flour
- 2 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Baking Soda
- 2 Cups Apple
- 1 & ½ tbsp Ground Cloves
- 1 Cup shredded sweetened coconut & chopped walnut
- 1 Cup heavy whipped cream
- ½ Cup Light or Brown Sugar
- ½ Cup Granulated Sugar

Steps
1 Done | In a large bowl, cream together the butter, egg, and sugar until well blended. |
2 Done | Stir in the freshly grated apple in it. It may seem like the grated apple is completely taking over the dish, then it’s an ace thing. |
3 Done | In a separate bowl, mix all the dry ingredients and then add it in the bowl of the wet ingredients and mix, just until incorporated. |
4 Done | Bake at 350 degrees F in a greased 9×13” pan for 40 min- 5min, or until a toothpick, wooden stick or knife inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. |
5 Done | Allow the cake to cool on a wire rack for at least 10-15 minutes. |
6 Done | Put all the caramel sauce ingredients in a large glass bowl and stir until it smooth. |
7 Done | Take about 2 inches of water in a saucepan and bring it to a boil. After that turn it to a low simmer. |
8 Done | Set the glass bowl over the saucepan (or use a double boiler) and simmer the sauce, occasionally stir it and make it cook for 1 hour. |
9 Done | Pour into a jar and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks. |
