Ribs are the great pleasure of carnivores. In addition, I’m sure that all of you have a freezer full of homemade stock, is well au fait with the lamb shank. Most of us never plump for the breast when there’s thigh on offer, the real joy of bones. I think that gnawing on bones is one of the few purely textural pleasures left to us in western cuisine. In this article, we gonna tell you how to cook country style ribs in the oven.
Beef ribs are delicious braised and full of fat and collagen. If you want to achieve tender meat of ribs with all the juices, then cook it in the oven in a baking pan covered with foil paper for about an hour. Cook slowly and allows to melt off those fatty marbling and keeping the meat moist throughout the cooking process.
Steps
1 Done | You can find three types of ribs in the market—baby back ribs, country-style ribs, and spareribs. Look at the small, medium, and large and choose according to your choice. |
2 Done | Remove the skin of the back of the ribs, which prevents your spices and sauce from getting into the meat completely. Slide your knife at one end under the skin and separate it from the meat just a little. Then with the help of paper towel pull the skin off gently. |
3 Done | Season the ribs with spices and put the ribs in the large sheet pan covered in foil, and leave it in the fridge for two and up to 24 hours. |
4 Done | Put the ribs into a 350-degree oven for two hours. You can even do it on the same sheet pan. |
5 Done | Let them cook for 2 hours until the temperature gives them the tender and tiniest bit of crust. |
6 Done | Wisk all the ingredients of barbecue sauce in a small bowl. And let it simmer for at least two hours. Then you will see it magically become sweetened and delightful. You can also use bottle sauce as you like. |
7 Done | After 2 hours take out the ribs from the oven and spread on some barbecue sauce and cook for another 15-25 minutes. |
