Sweet potatoes are sweet, starchy root vegetables that are planted and grown all around the world. They arrive in an assortment of sizes and shadings — including orange, white, and purple — and are plentiful in nutrients, minerals, cancer prevention agents, and fiber. Also, they give various medical advantages and are anything but difficult to add to your eating routine. Furthermore, yams — particularly the orange and purple colors — are wealthy in cancer prevention agents that shield your body from free extremists.

Sweet potatoes are easy to add to your eating routine. They can be delighted with or without the skin and can be heated, bubbled, simmered, roasted, steamed, or container cooked. Their common pleasantness matches well with a wide range of flavors, and they can be appreciated in both exquisite and sweet dishes.

Here’s a recipe for hot and spicy sweet potatoes to go with sweet potatoes for people who love to consume them now and then.

Steps

1
Done

Get your potatoes ready by peeling them and cutting them crossways into 2.5cm thick slices. Arrange them on a foil sheet, making sure there is no gap between them.

2
Done

Drizzle some olive oil on all the slices and sprinkle thyme leaves all over the—season with lots of salt and pepper along with chopped chilli on top of the pieces.

3
Done

Mix the potato slices with your clean hands, ensuring all the dressing is adequately mixed on the pieces. Rearrange the slices again in their first form after mixing and lay a thyme sprig across the top of every portion, and sprinkle the remaining chili on them for the final touch.

4
Done

Make sure there is enough foil left on the sides to cover the slices. You can also prepare the potatoes beforehand a day before cooking as well.

5
Done

Cover the potatoes with foil and put the foil parcels on the barbecue rack where heat is vital. Cook the slices for 45 minutes until they turn soft and buttery. Unveil them and enjoy them with the sauce of your choice.
