Steps
Done | To stuff the Nutella and bananas into the pancakes, the easiest way to do it is to spread a spoon full of Nutella on the tray and place two slices of bananas each in between the Nutella circles. Make at least six (according to the ingredients limit) while placing the chocolate on a freezer-friendly tray and let them set in the freezer for an hour to solidify. |
Done | Meanwhile, prepare your pancake mixture by adding everything individually or blend it in a blender for extra smoothness. If you add a little banana flavor to your Nutella banana pancakes by adding extra bananas into the mixture, you can do it in the blender to make the batter thicker and smoother. |
Done | Take a bowl and add all-purpose flour, egg, sugar, salt, milk, baking powder, butter (or canola oil) and blend until the mixture gets smooth. Keep in mind that the batter needs to rest a little before frying for better results. The more its sets, the better it thickens. It can also be blended again after letting it sit for 5-10 minutes aside. |
Done | Take out the frozen Nutella and banana chips and start your flames. |
Done | Preheat a pan on low flame for 5-7 minutes. Make sure it's non-stick and not too hot, or your pancakes will burn instantly. Once you feel the pan is ready, pour a scoop full of batter onto the pan slowly until it forms an excellent circular shape. |
Done | Pour a little batter first, place the frozen chocolate and banana chips in between the batter, and pour some more batter on them again. |
Done | Do not flip the pancake too soon. The best way to know if the downside is cooked is to see the bubbles appear on top of the pancake layer, and the edges will turn brown. |
Done | Once it's done, flip carefully and let the other side cook. |
Done | When pancakes are ready, they will become fluffy and edgy, so take them off onto a tray and serve hot with a drizzle of chocolate syrup and banana chunks. You can also use honey or maple syrup as dressings if you are craving extra sweetness. ENJOY! |
